Ferry flights

Maintenance and heavy check ferry flights

Getting an aircraft to its maintenance slot is often the hardest part of a check. We move aircraft to MRO facilities worldwide, including aircraft that need a special flight permit to make the trip.

  • Into the hangar and back out
  • Special flight permit preparation and filing
  • Direct coordination with the receiving MRO
  • Post-check functional flights available
  • Unpressurized and gear-down ferries where required

Flying with limitations

Gear down, unpressurized, single-pack, reduced altitude and reduced speed ferries are all part of normal work here. Each one changes the fuel plan, the route and the diversion strategy, and we rebuild the plan around the limitation rather than forcing the aircraft into a standard profile.
