Flight operations
International flight planning and dispatch
Flight planning is where a ferry is won or lost. The right route, the right fuel load and the right alternate strategy can take a full tech stop out of a crossing and remove days from a schedule.
- The cheapest flight is the one that is planned properly
- Route optimization against winds, overflight cost and payload
- Oceanic and remote area planning including polar routings
- Fuel tankering analysis where pricing justifies it
- Weather, NOTAM and airport suitability briefing for every leg
How we build a route
We start from the aircraft's real performance rather than the brochure figures, especially on ferries where an aircraft may be flying with limitations, at reduced altitude or with an unusual configuration.
- Performance limited leg lengths and payload trade
- Overflight charges compared across viable corridors
- Diversion and suitable airfield chain for each ocean crossing
- Curfews, slots and handling availability at every stop
Planning that survives contact with reality
Plans change once the aircraft is moving. Our operations desk stays with the flight, refiles when weather or airspace shifts, and keeps the ground chain updated so the crew is not negotiating fuel at two in the morning.
