Coverage
Transpacific ferry flights
The North Pacific is the hardest routing we fly regularly, and the one we know best. Series of 737 Classics and Q400s have crossed it with our crews, stopping at Petropavlovsk, Anadyr and Anchorage.
- Our most practised long crossing
- Established handling at the Russian Far East fields
- Turboprop and regional jet crossings, not just airliners
- Winter operations with de-icing and field condition planning
- Daily reporting while the aircraft is en route
Why the stops matter
There is very little between Japan and Alaska. Petropavlovsk and Anadyr are not convenient, but they are what makes the crossing possible for aircraft that cannot fly the whole distance. Having relationships there is the difference between a five day crossing and a two week one.
Weather discipline
We do not push a crew into a field that is marginal when the alternative is a day on the ground. Clients get an honest arrival estimate and daily updates rather than a fixed promise we cannot keep.
