Ferry flights

Worldwide aircraft ferry flights

A ferry flight moves an aircraft from where it is to where it needs to be, without passengers or revenue cargo on board. We have been doing exactly that for two decades, on everything from a Q400 crossing the Pacific to a 777 heading to part-out.

  • One team, one price, wheels up
  • Single point of contact from quote to arrival report
  • Crew, permits, fuel, handling and planning in one package
  • Oceanic, polar and remote routings flown routinely
  • Fixed quotes with no surprise line items

What a ferry flight from us includes

Every ferry is quoted as a complete movement rather than a stack of separate vendors. We build the route, price the fuel, obtain the permits, position the crew and manage the ground chain at every stop.

  • Route study, fuel planning and alternate strategy
  • Overflight and landing permits for every state on the route
  • Type qualified captains and first officers
  • Fuel uplift at contract pricing, handling and slot coordination
  • Customs, immigration and general declaration paperwork
  • Daily movement reporting to owners, lessors and buyers

Aircraft that have not flown in a while

Most of the aircraft we move have been parked. Desert storage, an expired lease, a grounded operator or a repossession all leave an aircraft that needs careful treatment before it flies again.

We coordinate with your maintenance provider on the return to service inspection, verify the paperwork that a permit authority will actually ask for, and plan conservative legs that keep the aircraft close to suitable diversion fields.

Typical reasons owners call us

Ferry work sits at the end of a transaction, and it is usually urgent by the time someone picks up the phone.

  • Delivery to a new owner or operator after a sale
  • Positioning for cargo conversion or heavy maintenance
  • Lease return to the agreed redelivery location
  • Movement to a part-out or teardown facility
  • Recovery of a diverted or stranded aircraft
