Ferry flights
Aircraft delivery flights for buyers, sellers and lessors
A delivery flight carries contractual weight. The aircraft has to arrive in the agreed condition, at the agreed place, with paperwork that satisfies the buyer, the lessor, the registry and the financier.
- The last mile of a transaction
- Delivery location and delivery condition managed to the contract
- Coordination with escrow, registry and title agents
- Technical records checked before the aircraft moves
- Neutral crews acceptable to both sides of the deal
Delivery over international waters
Many aircraft transactions are structured so that title passes outside a taxing jurisdiction. We routinely plan legs that put the aircraft over international waters at the moment of closing, coordinate the timing with the escrow agent, and record the position for the file.
Working with both sides
Buyers want proof of condition. Sellers want the aircraft off their insurance. We work as a neutral operator that reports the same facts to everyone, which keeps a delivery from turning into a dispute.
- Pre-departure condition photographs and logbook review
- Fuel state and cycles recorded at delivery
- Discrepancy reporting before rather than after arrival
