The state of registry sets the rules for permits, certificates, crew licensing and any special flight authorization required to move the aircraft.

Can you move an aircraft during a registry change?

Yes. Movements around de-registration and re-registration are common, and we plan the flight around the certificate that will actually be valid on the day.
